Nike makes very different shoes for very similar-looking purposes. This is how we steer people at the fitting bench, based on where they actually wear them on the island.
The Pegasus is the pair we recommend most for running the waterfront or Palm Beach strip: neutral cushioning, a breathable mesh upper that dries overnight, and enough structure to double as a long-day walking shoe. If you only buy one Nike, this is it.
Leather Jordan silhouettes look excellent and hold heat. Treat them as an evening and going-out shoe rather than a midday walking pair, and keep them out of sand and salt water, leather stiffens quickly once it dries out.
Gym and court models sit lower and flatter than runners because you need stability side to side, not forward cushioning. Running in them, or lifting in a soft runner, is the most common mismatch we see.
Nike running models generally fit true to length but narrow through the forefoot, while Jordan 1s run slightly long. Feet swell in the heat, so try on in the afternoon and fit to your larger foot, that's why we ask you to walk a lap of the store.
